Are you familiar with the “Untouchable” caste of India? Did you know that Japanese society has an equivalent? Class struggles and the cultural history of Japan's "Hidden/Untouchable" class, the Burakumin, will be presented in this lecture style panel. True stories will be presented about how this group of Japanese people developed and struggled through adversity, only to be almost entirely forgotten by modern history.
